wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The beginning  <\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I began my musical journey by studying classical piano with Wally Karveno.<br\/>I was introduced to Brazilian music at an early age, when I went to see<br\/>my father Coaty de Oliveira (drummer for Baden Powell, Claude Nougaro, Nazar\u00e9<br\/>Pereira&#8230;) played in major Parisian venues and more modest clubs.<br\/>&#8220;the Discophage, for example, where I rubbed shoulders with the Brazilian music scene.<br\/>wonderful artists such as Les \u00e9toiles, Ricardo Vilas, T\u00e9ca<br\/>Calazans&#8230;<br\/>I have accompanied various Brazilian artists (but not only&#8230;) Marcelo Fereira, Catia<br\/>Werneck, Fil\u00f3 Machado, Raul Mascarenhas, Ricardo Vilas, Raul de Souza, Tara<br\/>Mehrad, Cl\u00e9mentine, Chlo\u00e9 Deyme, Cacau de Queiroz, Manu le Prince, Claudia<br\/>Marss, Simone Prattico etc&#8230;) in concert and also recorded some<br\/>records (around twenty) as a sideman.<br\/>From these enriching encounters, I was able to observe and learn from these artists,<br\/>how to accompany them on the piano, of course, but also how to work in a<br\/>recording studio, listen to the members of a group, etc&#8230; and finally<br\/>analyze and understand the role of each, the registers.<br\/>This also led me to study arranging, music writing,<br\/>MAO (computer-assisted music), learning to record and mix, editing<br\/>scores, composing music.<br\/>The profession of musician has evolved and you need several strings to your bow&#8230;<br\/>I have also taught piano jazz and led orchestral workshops in<br\/>three recognized Parisian music schools (CIM, ARPEJ and the Bill Evans<br\/>Piano Academy).<\/p>\n\n<p
